Yalova University hosted an important academic visit in line with its internationalization goals. A delegation from Andijan State Technical University, one of Uzbekistan's long-established higher education institutions, visited Yalova University.
Within the scope of the visit, Umid Mukhtaralievich Turdialiev, Rector of Andijan State Technical University, and Javlonbek Rakhmatillayev, Project Manager, were hosted in their office by Yalova University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı.
During the meeting, academic and institutional cooperation opportunities between the two universities were discussed.
Within the framework of the contacts made, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) envisaging cooperation within the scope of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA171 Erasmus+) program was signed. During the discussions, details regarding joint projects and academic exchange activities that can be realized in the coming period were also evaluated.
After the official meetings, the delegation, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Jülide Hızal Yücesoy, visited the laboratories of Yalova University Faculty of Engineering. The guest delegation received information about the laboratory infrastructure, ongoing academic studies, and technical facilities, and had the opportunity to examine the university's applied education opportunities on site.
