Foreign Relations Office

ABOUT US > Foreign Relations Office

The Foreign Relations Office is the first administrative unit established at Yalova University on 8 April 2009. The Office manages the university’s national and international external relations and develops institutional collaborations. Through its sub-units—Bologna Process Harmonization, Farabi, Mevlana, and Project Management—it serves as a facilitative support unit for students and academic staff. The Office aims to enhance national and cross-border cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture. Yalova University’s overarching perspective is to contribute to global cooperation for sustainable development, as emphasized in the Final Communiqué of the 2009 Leuven Ministerial Conference, and to promote international activities.

Mission

The mission of the Foreign Relations Office is to create synergistic relationships with universities and institutions within the process of global integration; to implement social, cultural, economic, scientific, and technical projects; to organize exchange programmes; and to support the development of academic initiatives.

Vision

The vision of the Foreign Relations Office is to operate as an excellence-oriented unit that builds scientific and cultural bridges from Yalova to the world.
